Ball Height Issue, 16' International

Hi All:

After searching the forum for quite a bit, I am still at a loss as to what I need to do to get the right ball height since I changed my TV.
I recently swapped out my TV from a Toyota FJ Cruiser to a 2011 Toyota tacoma, which drastically changed the height of my tow ball. As the pic attached shows, I am about 6" too low (with the old set up) on the tacoma. I want to keep my current sway control setup etc, but not sure what modifications I need to make to get the ball in the 16-17" range. The hitch on the tacoma is exactly 18", and as you can see the old one takes it awfully close to the ground. Thoughts? Is there a straight bar that I can purchase that will accommodate the sway bar attachments?

Thanks!

Yes there is a straight head from DrawTite or Reese that should make the ball height about 19 or 20 inches and should come out about rite when the tongue weight is applied.

Thanks. Do you have any links that would show me the product(s)? I'm not finding the straight bar that has the right sway bar attachment points.

What about removing the ball mount from the shank, and turn the shank 180 degrees so it is pointing up instead of down and replacing the ball mount to a more suitable height.

... and, it looks like you have at least one more mounting hole for adjustment as well ...
