AIR Tank replacement

Does anybody know where I can get the tank that goes on an 1995 AIRSTREAM Land Yacht 33ft. Air tank is for the air suspension, horn, etc.

Ours is apparently rusted from the inside out. Just got airstream in August and trying to get it road ready for the summer.

The current compressor is by Thomas Industries Model 315CDC40/12F. They show one, but have to buy the compressor too. Just need tank. Any thoughts?

My first idea is to check with a truck parts/repair shop. They all use air tanks for brake systems. May be a long shot, but...why not?

I agree with Fyrzowt. A truck repair place would be a good start.

For our Argosy motorhome I just shopped around and found a reasonably sized tank that was in good shape from a local scrap dealer.

You might also check out Burden Sales Surplus Center - Hydraulics, Engines, Electrical and More they carry parts like that.

Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Brad

Burdens

I agree with the previous post. I just got a new Burden's catalog and they have a 6 gallon tank, Item #4-1754 for $39.95...... Just happened to notice that the other day when thumbing thru the catalog.

Good luck, Different Brad

Air tanks

Try Viair. I just bought one of their compressors and it is great. 100% duty cycle at 100PSI. They have tanks from .5 gal to 5.
