2021 Owner manuals out - change of coupler?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to check something with you now that the 2021 model line-up owner's manuals are published (https://www.airstream.com/owners/manuals/).
For the Globetrotter in now states an EZ latch coupler. Does that mean, that they might have moved away from Atwood at this time or did the Globetrotter already not have the Atwood coupler?

Cheers,
Chris

That change occurred for 2020 for the entire trailer line. I have a 2019 with the Atwood coupler. I had trouble with it from the beginning. I have learned that it is not made anymore. Replacement parts seem to have disappeared too.

Thank you everyone, sorry I searches for EZ latch coupler but found 5000 posts and couldn't really identify and find the link to this coupler change on the model line-up

Which search function were you using?

The only one that works well -- IMO -- is on the main desktop version of Airforums.com, not the App.

On my laptop there is a new-ish search function above, powered by Google, in the blue box above the blue blue menu bar, which works great.

That menu bar also has the "old" search function link in it, and this old one does not work all that well. [IMO] The one function, however, that does work well in the old search function is in looking up members here IMO. Click on "Search" in the blue menu bar above, and then click on "Advanced Search" where you can then enter the member's name. You have to wait until the site offers suggested names, and then you have to click on the correct one.

Before doing anything else, look over on the bottom left, and toggle on the "Show Posts" option.

You can also a general Google search in your browser, and add the search term "site:airforums.com" to your other search terms.

Janet H of the site team has an old thread FYI [before the new Google search box above]:

Happy trails,

Hey Peter,

thanks, that is really good to know.
I tried using the most obvious (to me) one, the search button integrated in the top navigation bar.
You are right, the google trick actually works way better!
