When I found out we inherited our Airstream I dreaded that I sold the 70 Suburban I had bought as a project vehicle2 years before. I'm always keeping an eye out for 71-72 Suburbans now (71 was first year for Disc front brakes). If I found the right one I would sell my 88 Burb in a heart beat.
One of my online buddies just picked up a 72 that's all original and looks great!

I think I may have been conceived in one of these...
...just kidding! But it is exactly the car my dad had when my mom & he were dating! They sold it after they were married and bought a '59 bug....a practical "family car"...
God, I drool over those two photos. Unfortunately, I bought the vintage Airstream. My wife frowned on my craving of a 57 Chevy last year but Acquiesed to the Airstream. All is well. I'm just wandering if that new Chevy SSR retro pickup will pull it.

That's ironic. I restored and then sold the truck in my post above. Then I bought a '65 Bug.
