tow vehicle mile

I have 580,000 on my 99 Ram 2500 5.9 diesel with NO engine work It is now my secondary vehicle as I tow with a 2013 Ram now but I would trust it to go anywhere.. I do have to confess that most of the miles were from delivering RV's for a commercial company

Just traded in my 2005 (purchased in 2006) Ram 2500, Cummins, 4WD, short bed last November. It had 297,341 miles and has been back and forth across the USA towing 4 times. In 2014 it towed across the USA visiting 34 states and racked up about 35,000 miles. Because I have been so pleased with the experience owning a Ram W/Cummins I purchased a new 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie with a Cummins.

2014 Denali HD Duramax with Allison transmission

I have 190k miles towing our 2008 27FB International CCD. No major repairs to date. The really remarkable thing to me is that I am still running on the original brake pads and still have life to go on them!! I attribute that to the Allison transmission which along with the engine brake system does a great job of stopping the rig with minimal brake pressure

2015 long bed Duramax 3500 HD. A whopping 31K, mostly towing miles. Still waiting to get it completely broke in, I figure another five years should be enough.

Who Has the Most Miles on Their Tow Vehicle?

Just 122,000 on my 2008 Tundra. Zero problems until a broken valve spring at 107,000 miles. We replaced all 32 springs and no problems since. I would buy this truck again. My wife retired recently, so looking forward to more traveling as soon as we get vaccinated. I donít plan on ever replacing this truck.

I really like to see what vehicles are making it over 300k miles. It is interesting how many gas motors we have on this list.
