I have two tow vehicles of different configurations, but system allows for only a single input.

Is there a purpose to the poll or just general knowledge?
Ford, Chevy and Fiat-Chrysler are split out by various models but Toyota is just lumped as a single entry. At least split it by truck or SUV. I tow my trailer with a Toyota SUV but the previous owner pulled it with a Tacoma. Others use a Tundra but there's different configurations of Tundras.
So going back to my original question, what are we trying to determine?

Just general knowledge - a breakdown of the major 3 truck makers and those most seem to have/use. As stated, this poll recognizes there are other vehicles that tow Airstreams. Certainly it could be more specific and add all sorts of models and configurations...

Short bed crew cab 2012 4WD TRD Toyota Tacoma with a V6 and factory tow package plus a tonneau cover (aftermarket and anonymous brand)
Traded up from a long bed 2WD 2008 with a cap.
Like the new one better for quiet an comfort. Doggies like it a lot.

Not to start a flame war or anything but I'm surprised at the amount of Toyota's. America makes some fine pickup trucks and to tow an American made icon trailer with a Japanese truck seems a bit odd. To each his/her own though!

No flame, but personally I have had American pickups, and I get much much more reliability and comfort from Toyota... And mine are actually built in the USA...

2012 Ram 1500 Reg Cab 120" wheelbase 5.7 Hemi, hitched with a ProPride. Inexpensive, smooth and capable, rock solid in front of our Airstream.
The Ram was built in Mexico, our former Tundra Indiana. The Ram is more comfortable and reliable at similar mileage. Both good lightweight trucks.

While yes Toyota pickups are made in USA (Japan really doesn't "do" pickups), the profit still goes to Japan.
While a few vehicles of each brand owned may be too small of a sample to really make any judgments, I wish there was more empirical data out there.
Although it may be a moot point for myself seeing as the Japanese don't sell any diesel pickups.
I did notice the last seven years Motor Trend trucks of the year were American. It's a shame not more diesels from everyone aren't available.
