Toyota Sequoia

I am in need of a new tow vehicle. I have a 25' SE LS and use a Hensley Hitch. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or information about using the Sequoia as it would make a good vehicle for every day use and hopefully for towing. They make a 5.7 liter V8 engine that seems to be of but I am trying to find out the Tongue Weight, and if my Hensley will perform with this vehicle. I prefer to lease and all of the American manufactures are out of the leasing business which makes purchasing also out of reach. I can actually lease a large M model Mercedes for the monthly cost of purchasing a GMC Yukon Denali. Toyota seems to still have a reasonable leqase program or so I was told.

The sequoia is a very reasonable choice. It should be similar to the Yukon Denali. Have fun.

The Sequoia should do OK, especially with the Hensley to help with the shorter wheelbase. We used to pull our 25FB with an '04 Tahoe, and it worked OK.

If you do end up leasing, read the lease agreement very carefully. Some leases prohibit towing entirely or limit the gross weight that you can tow. If you were to have even a minor accident, and the report documented that you were outside the lease provisions, it could leave you holding the bag.
