Towing with 2015 Suburban

I tow a 30' with an Escalade. No issues. Within the weight limits. Just weigh the thing to be sure, don't exceed the weight limits, and you'll be fine.

The 30' Classic is heavier than the 30' FC.... 8,800 max for the FC, 10,000 max for the Classic. Both are a bit over 2,000 lighter when "empty". The 2017 Escalade shows an 8,100 pound max tow spec.....

Correct. So like I said, within limits. I don't load up my trailer to the max.

As for the original post (since the Escalade and Suburban are cousins) we checked with 2 Airstream dealers as well as the Caddy and sister Chevy dealer. Consensus was that the International 27FB should be the highest we go.

Several trips now, and the Caddy has been a monster, albeit we've yet to hit mountains.

Does your 2017 Escalade have the max trailering package? I have a 2018 suburban with the “regular” tow package and 5.3L engine. Considering getting a 25FB globetrotter. Thanks
