Towing GT 27FB with Tremor vs FX4

I'm thinking about a 2020 F250 or F350 and wanted everyone's thoughts on truck spec's for towing a GT 27FB. Notwithstanding the price, would there be much of a difference towing the GT with the Tremor package vs the FX4? It would be nice to have some additional off road capability but not if it impacts the towing considerably.

Not that I can tell. I have a 2019 F350 FX4 that I put real off road tires on KO2s in stock size and proper load range. Tows just fine. The only gotcha will be making sure you have enough drop on the hitch. If Tremor was available when we bought I would have.

All the features that make the Termor a better off-road choice make it slightly less suitable for towing both in terms of general feel and in emergency handling. It is still quite capable of safely towing the 27 footers but it will not perform as well as the F4X which in turn will not perform as well as street models. You may well be okay with the trade off.

One would imagine that an F250/350 that has a 15,000 lb tow rating pulling a 7600 AS won't be much effect by the bigger tires and higher lift included in the Tremor package.

I'm not sure how much difference "additional off-road capability" matters on a vehicle half a block long. In the case of the Raptor (150 platform), the softer long-travel suspension makes it a less-capable towing platform but I'm not sure how much of that higher-speed-off-road tuning went into the Tremor and how much of it is bling.

the biggest difference will be that the springs are a bit soft so it will be a bit mushy. If the driver and passengers don't mind, no harm done.
