Tow vehicle question

My wife and I are looking into buying an airstream in the next year or so. We were considering the 25rb flying cloud. Our tow vehicle would be my 2017 Nissan Titan. Payload is 1490 and max towing is 9110. Engine is a 5.6L V8 with a 7 speed transmission. The Titan has built in trailer braking system and sway control with the tow package. I was wondering if this seems like it would be doable? Thanks!

I am sure you will gets lots of answers but as I understand it you should be able to use your current TV as long as you don't go higher that the 25 and you might/should be aware of what you are putting inside. Those who are more knowledgeable than I am will be able to give you a much better answer.

Our last tow vehicle was a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 V8 for our Airstream 25. About the same thing, just a great combination. The difference between success and no-so-good will be the hitch and hitch setup. We eventually got a ProPride 1400 hitch and any trailer sway, semi bow wave push, cross wind instability ended and no more weight distribution concerns. We now have the Ram 1500 truck with a small diesel engine for economy and it is also very similar in overall performance.

Thanks! I appreciate the insight! The pro pride hitch looks like the way to go! We didn't really want to go much bigger than 25 and from glancing at the numbers looks like it will be about right.
