Great... you have checked out the Kia Sorento too. Personally I didn't care for the hwy drive. To be any good as a serious puller I would upgrade the tires to a high quality low profile design and add some more caster to the front end to improve the straight line trackability.

Hi everybody,
Really appreciate all the help about what i can do with a tow vehicle. Had about decided using a Gran Marquis wasn't possible though my parents towed an airstream and another brand with either an Oldsmobile or a Chrysler though this was in the 50's and 60's. My local hitch dealer says he doesn't see why with a good hitch I couldn't tow a Bambi forgetting what the manufacture says. Understand without a full frame the Bonneville is more challanging. The local airstream dealer says one the dealer network just towed a larger unit from Canada with a new Impala.Will see whether we can make the deal I want for the Bambi. thanks again and will definaitely mention the Helmsley hitch.
