No problem in terms of stability, but you may find it hard (or impossible) to restart on a steep gradient if the road is wet. I have no experience a Mercury Marquis -but suggest you seek a vehicle with rear-wheel drive , or like the Mercedes GLC coupe series have drive on all four wheels. My wife has a hot AMG 45 version.
