Tow mirrors for 21-23 Suburban

Has anyone found good tow mirrors for the 21-23 Yukon/Yukon XL/Tahoe/Suburban? All I can find are the strap ons.

I tried the strap on kind with our Lincoln Navigator. Shake city. I bought Milenco MIL-2912 Grand Aero 3 mirrors. They still move a bit, but are way way better.

I installed mirrors from Boost Auto on my 2018 GMC. They’re great. OEM look and quality. Fairly easy installation if you’re handy. I installed the power folding version.

This company is OE to many of the car manufacturers. They also make a lot of stuff for the aftermarket. If they don't have it, no one is likely to.

Also check out https://www.1aauto.com/ as they have a lot of unique mirrors where they have done things like 4th gen mirror heads on 3 gen mounts (for RAM trucks for instance) that has correct wiring and connectors.

Just use a rearview camera. It provides much better coverage, eliminating blind spots.

Most states have legal requirements about the ability to see a certain distance behind the trailer from the mirrors. I don't think they have been updated to account for the use of cameras.

I found these online. Waiting for my GMC Yukon to arrive to try them out.

Try Clearview Mirrors, I don’t know if they have them for your vehicle, but I just added a set for my 2020 Ranger. Easy install and function great.

Where did you find yours? The only place I could find them two days ago was JEGS and it was not available until March. Today I’m seeing them both at JEGS and Explosive Powersports today.

What a difference a day makes. That or a few AI systems on the internet noticed that they were getting hits on the 80950.

I had to look at multiple places. I ordered from E Trailer but they came back with a delivery date of May 2023 so I cancelled. I successfully ordered at https://autoplicity.com/ who had them in stock - maybe because they were mislabeled in their online add as being for an F-150 but the part number 80950.

Agree with DCPAS, the Milenco’s are hard to beat and relatively cheap. I just bought a used set for my trip to Alaska this summer. Only issue I’ve had in the past is that you must check them frequently to re-tighten. They can work themselves loose.
Good luck!

Thank you! I’ve ordered. Their free shipping makes a big difference.

Check the Milenco website:

We used the Grand Aero on our F-150 and they worked great. Easily adaptable to many makes and models.
Happy trails.

Mirrors for towing

We have been using a set of mirrors which adhere to all car/truck existing mirrors with suction cups. I know it seems hokey, but THEY WORK, and the best part is you can use your remote control armrest mirror controls to set them to the best view for your rig. We have over 8,000 miles on ours and they have fallen off less than 6 times in that distance (they do have a cord which goes around the existing mirror and keeps them on the rig, you just have to stop to reapply the one that fell off).
You can get them at Walmart. Good luck and safe travels.

We picked up our new Suburban Wednesday. The mirrors are perfect.

Note that if you have the 360 camera view, there is are camera’s on the bottom of the mirrors. There is a piece that easily snaps off of the ksource mirror to allow the camera to poke through the bottom.

I have been using Aero 4 now on Ram 1500 and previously on Grand Cherokee Overland, rock solid no shaking, mirror can be adjusted to be used horizontally or vertically. Not a bulky look.
