I just bought a 2019 Ram 2500 with 6'4" box. I intend on putting this on:
https://diamondbackcovers.com. These are strong enough to stand on and will even support a ATV.

However, I am going through all the suggestions here first, to see what else may be on the market. But I certainly like what Diamondback has to offer.

The Diamondback and the Pick and Pack seem to be quite heavy, if payload capacity is of any concern.

Thanks for starting this Thread, just what I need.

Truck Covers USA

I have a Truck Covers USA American Workbox tonneau cover and I absolutely love it! It comes in many sizes and configurations. Mine is on a Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab short box. And the best part is, I installed it myself! I did have help lifting the toolbox up into the bed of the truck, but otherwise did all of the rest of the installation myself, including installing (drilling holes for) the drain hoses. The only thing I didn’t do was wire in the light strip accessory in the toolbox lid, and it was very reasonably priced to get that done by a truck aftermarket accessory store. (They were very impressed with my work!) Not too shabby for a 64 year old woman! The tonneau cover rolls nicely, looks great, stops in 4 locking positions, keeps things dry and secure. The toolbox is a big plus, does not take up too much room in the bed, and is just the size for the tools I need for my Airstream!I saw the tonneau cover on another Airstream Addicts truck here and asked him for his info. He had the rails across the back of the bed that you mount bikes to, an addition I plan to make as well.

I also have a DiamondBack, albeit on an F-150, but it fits like a glove (no leakage here in the Pacific Northwest), is very secure and while it is not retractable it provides good access front and back (via two lockable openings) plus you can carry stuff on top, lastly it normally comes in polished aluminum to match your AS. But as Coop said earlier, they are a bit pricey.

I too have the RamBox on my 2018 RAM 2500 6'4 bed and would like to get a tonneau cover with the option to mount bicycles on top. Anyone found one like this? I haven't been able to find one yet.

Looks like this 'Tonneau Cover for RAM2500 w/ RamBox' thread has gone off topic and has digressed into a general thread about tonneau covers for any truck.

Sorry to a bit sensitive... but I don't see any real digression. It is my understanding is that a tonneau that works, or not, on a F-150 or a Silverado would also fit on a RAM2500, providing one gets the correct model. The pluses and minus are pretty much valid regardless of which TV is used.

RAM makes models with and without RAMBOX, which is a cargo management system for having two pop-open toolboxes where the wheel wells are. It's another degree of specificity when trying to find the right tonneau cover.

Tonneau cover

We have ReTrac Pro. Had it installed by local company that we bought it from...they don't charge. We love it because we added Yakima bike racks above it and can still load bikes on. We saw loloho had one so we looked for theirs. What you need to know if you do get one is that there are 2 models and only one allows the additional racks to be fitted to it.

Truck Covers USA

Truck Covers USA makes a tonneau cover WITHOUT the tool box that WILL fit the Rambox model. I was referring to my particular model with the toolbox when I suggested the tonneau cover. I don’t believe I was off topic at all. Truck Covers USA is a very sturdy product, and as I mentioned in my previous post, they make a wide variety of tonneau covers to fit virtually every model of truck. If I can install one with a toolbox myself, a tonneau cover alone would be easy to install. I get stopped by people all the time asking me about my truck tonneau cover, and they are impressed by it.

Tonneau/Not Tonneau

I have an ‘05 Dodge Ram 1500. Of course I do not have the RamBox. I looked for a long time for a Tonneau Cover and was leaning toward a solid, one-piece w/lift arms. In the end I went for a Cap or Topper as some call them. I have no problems with leakage and another 16” of height now in the bed. Certainly wish I had gotten one a long time ago. I seen Caps for the RamBox beds. They look ungainly but I’m sure they work fine. If I it to do over again I’d look for a Cap that had Lift-Windows on the side so I’d have easy access to more stuff. I’m currently in the process of deciding between getting a Slider storage system or just building a pull slider out of 2x6s myself.

I had a Leer mid height fiberglass cap with side opening windows on my 2011 Tundra 4x4. I also had a bed slide. This combination worked very well for me except for glaring issue that I did not anticipate... Payload capacity. After my Casita was hitched and spare gas container in the bed of the truck, I had only about 200lbs of payload capacity left. In other words, I was way over capacity when we went camping. I now have a larger trailer and a larger truck. I will use a tonneau over this time around. I never did fully utilize the additional storage volume. Also the bedslide not only takes up space but you must not have anything over the sides that will catch on thing as it is pulled out.
