Talking Titan Tank & PIAA Light Installation - Green Manalishi

As eluded to in a few other threads here - yesterday on my Birthday (as a present to myself) I had scheduled the install of my Titan Tank (Ford OEM 26 gallon to 50 gallon upgrade tank), along with Titan's replacement rock guard as designed for their tank, Kandy Khrome Light Bar, 2 sets of PIAA lights up front (PIAA 520 Driving & Fog) and 1 set of PIAA 1500 backup lights in the rear - all for my 2011 Ford Super Duty F-350 King Ranch Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 Diesel Truck - aka the "Green Manalishi"

As you might have expected - the installs are now completed. I was so excited, took pictures right at the Edgewater Trick Trucks shop (near Annapolis, MD) where I had all of my work performed. They were highly recommend by Titan Tanks to install the tank and since I've had other work done there in the past I was quite comfortable to enlist their services for all my work, to include the lights, bar, etc.

Although I think the pictures will tell most of the story here, in one word, their work was "FLAWLESS"!!!

Promise to post some better pictures, time allowing, but for now I'm ecstatic....

Excellent! Love the lights... Does the Titan tank lower your ground clearance at all? I've debated doing this (we have a 2010 F250) but we do use our truck in some very questionable areas! Approximate cost for the tank in labor?

Happy Birthday! Looks like it was a great day.

As per Titan's web site, lowers clearance by only 1" - since I have the FX4 package, and like you, do go into some "interesting areas", I purchased their rock guard for the tank.

Purchased from Titan Tanks around 1,250.00 for both....

John, have you had the computer's tank size setting changed at a dealership yet? Everything except Miles to Empty still works, but it's nice to know they have a setting for that Titan Tank in the computer now.

I have to say, that your Titan and PIAA setup is really BOSS! I am extremely jealous since Titan doesn't make a gasser replacement and the Trans-Flow with metal, doesn't do anything for me. I do have the South Texas Outfitters front and rear bumper and the rear bumper has their tractor rear lights. I also have the small PIAA front fog lights but they don't compare with yours. That's a really nice setup, congratulations!!

Waiting for my oil change, Ford officially released an update to mod the tank to 50 gallons ala the computer, once that is done i'll be as good as factory installed option.

Thanks Pappy

JFS - nice job on the lights - considering something similar for my 2010 F250.... did you wire the fog lights into the stock fog light circuit, or are the PIAA fogs and drivings controlled off separate upfitters?

Increasing the 30.5 gal tank to 50 is tempting as well.

Lots of ways to spend more $$ on our toys....

Lots of ways to spend our hard earned dollars...

All the lights (front driving and fogs and backup lights) are tied into their own separate "up-fitter" switches...
