Tire pressure

I have a new Ford F-150 pickup truck. 2017. It has Pirelli tires. I've always owned michelin's. Any recommendations on a safe tire pressure for Towing?

I don't have a Ford, but here is how I approached it on my 2017 truck. The manual states that the recommended tire pressures (33 Front/35 Rear) are the minimum pressures required to handle the maximum rated loads. The tires state on the sidewall that the maximum cold pressure is 44. Since I am under the maximum axle loads when towing, I run 35 in the front and 38 in the rear. That has worked great so far, and we did a 2 month, 8300 mile trip this summer. The truck handles well and the tires aren't showing much wear.

I would stay between the pressure recommended on the placard on the driver's door jam and the maximum listed on the tires. My Yukon recommends 35# for my Bridgestones, and the maximum is 44#. I run them around 38# while towing.

I tow a 25FB International. I have a RAM TV with Michelin tires. The max. pressure is 44 psi cold. When towing I keep them at about 40 to 42 psi cold. Works well for me.
