Ford Edge I hope that is joke

New ford diesel with 800 pounds torque has to be it. Cummins truck is right behind it. I have not looked at Edge in all fairness but come on it can not be any heavier duty than say old Explorer and that never won, jeeps kicked it's butt.

Towing should really speed up the bearing issues.

I must say my 2002 Chevy 3500 one ton window van(WINS). I paid $5000 for it 5 years ago. It has never let me down. I always think of all the gas I can buy. Instead buying of a 50k tow rig.

Just my 2 cents.

danlehosky - I think you're close to having the right idea. You can upload a file from your computer to have it appear in a post. See How to Add Photos to a Post

ROBERT CROSS - I've had bad dreams like that. lol. Saw a 70's 31' AS in a rest stop a couple of years ago being pulled by a Jaguar XKE. Car looked way small for that big a trailer. The driver said no problem pulling because of the 12 cylinder motor. Only problem he had was trying to stop it.

I had a vintage Jag a few years ago...not sure I would want to tow anything with it. Power is not the issue...Sometimes they have a hard enough time keeping themselves going!
The joke is "why do the British like their beer warm? Because Lucas makes their refrigerators too". Lol!

(for non Jag ppl, lucas makes the electronics in many british cars)

Fred, the truck would be upset if he was not included in this thread.
