The only thing that stopped me was the price at $160, I figured I'd just keep using the breaker bar.

I have a dent in the aluminum front storage compartment door. The one time I left it down when unhitching. Those chains have a lot of tension on them. This strap system looks great. Hopefully it’s durable, not sure why it wouldn’t be. Works with the same forces, I guess it should. And I could get equal tension on the straps, I guess just by measuring, or marking the strap somehow.
Thank you. I never knew there was an alternative. The hitch has worked well for 11,000 miles so far. No sway, certainly less expensive than a new hitch system especially the PP.
Hmm, the Amazon reviews mention a lot of quality issues with the ratchet assembly. I was ready to order a set. Not sure now.
