The only flaw in the plan was our chain was shorter than the tree, so as it fell towards me, I'd have to take off or else. Most times I came to a stop surrounded by small branches and leaves. Never had a big limb hit me!
Cessna 172 was not manf. until 156 310 1954. I obtained my pilot lic. with Stearman later 1st plane I owned was Taylor craft [T craft] I liked because had steering wheel instead of stick but stick more fun to fly. Later I had several pipers and 1 Pitts special.

I guess to be a voice of reason here a bit late. Iím thinking about an airstream 23 as well. I own a 2019 Ranger Lariat. I have towed 6000+ pounds over the Rockies and Cascades going 70 most of the time with no problem in the vehicle. The transmission is same as the F150, disk breaks all around, large capacity for mid size (bigger than my old F150 actually), and the engine has decent hp 270 (ford will sell you a tune to get to 320hp if you want) If anyone like me lives in the big city so a larger truck is just not an option (I can barely fit the ranger in most parking spots). The ranger will work for weekenders and the occasional cross country trip at least for the weight and length of the load. Yea, you canít sip your latte and not pay attention... but itís easier than the MRAPs I drove as a younger man :-). My 2 cents live in a city (not suburbs) and are a weekender -> SUV, or mid size truck is going to be just fine.
