Need Better View

does anyone know if the Tow-N-See mirrors work on heated mirrors? I have the tow mirrors on my F350, but I cannot see down both sides of my trailer. I prefer a clear view of both side of my trailer and the lane &/or shoulder. Thank for any suggestions.

hi 'shaker....

took me awhile to get the superduties adjusted for ideal viewing...have you tried them pulled 'out' fully extended?

when fully extended, i wanted to see the leading edge of the trailer sides and along the outer walls too....

finally got them right....i can see the front corners and rear side marker lights...with the slightest turn of the wheel...

the lower convex sections i use to check the lower corners and mudflaps area...seemed there was still a blind spot for traffic...

so i wanted something else that give a nice global view of the road...

cosmotini had the c-betr mirrors on his superduty last year...i liked 'em.

here is a thread on my install...

http://www.airforums.com/forum...hlight=mirrors

they really complete the picture...for a rear view.

here is a link to the website...the pictures there nicely show...what they show.

cheers

Thanks for the info. I went to your thread and saw how they reallly widened the view. I have tried adjusting my mirros and even fully extended cannot see both sides of my trailer. I think it's a trucker thing- can't have too many mirrors and can't see too much. It really bothers me before a lane change not to see clearly down the side of my trailer. Going to look into the mirrors more(no pun intended). They seem to be anextremely easy and not too expensive add-on.

One question about these mirrors- when the wipers are running, does all the water on the windshield get thrown only on the back of the mirrors or does it end up on the mirror?

rain or wiper spray has not been an issue for me.

they stay just as clear as the other mirrors...

frost might be an issue, they aren't heated...

i've only had them on since spring.

the glass actually seems optically better than the stock mirrors but this might be my imagination...

cheers
