Just as a point of interest, I stopped in NTB (originally, National Tire and Battery) to check on the price difference of two Michelin Defender Tires that I'll be considering as OEM replacements once I get some miles on the original tires. The Defender LTX in a P275/55R20 is$199.99 per tire and the LT265/60R20 LRE is $224.99 per tire, so a difference of $25 per tire. Installation, balance, etc would be the same. So, except for some ride harshness trade-off, I feel that it would be a no brainer to go to the true LT tires.

My tire dealer looked at my Goodyears (45,600 miles on them) and said I probably had another 5,000 miles on the tread but the sipes were pretty well gone. I replaced them with Michelin LTX/MS tires. The only problem I had with the Goodyear SRA's was that I had a sidewall flat at 120 miles on one of them. Tire dealer said he thought someone might have pinched the tire on the side
of the transport trailer while unloading it.
