I have a 2016 F350 Diesel 4x4. Over 70,000 miles and not one mechanical issue.
Do get warning lights. Going up into high elevations you will get an alert about exhaust. After three stops and starts it will go out. Laramie, Wyoming is low at 7,200 feet.
Another EPA light up. I you are use to Topping Off the Tank when the pump handle stops the flow. Don't. A warning light will come on that tells you not to... after reading what it meant. After the next fill up... and start... it went out.
My Exhaust Check for this years plates... 0. Zero pollutants... whatever they were looking for.
When you change your oil. It is black. When you add fresh oil and check the oil... it is black. I change my own oil so I know it has been changed. If you wonder if your oil in your Diesel has been changed... mark your Oil Filter. When the Oil Filter is changed... you will know you have had an oil change.
No CHIP to fix the GPS screen after four years... warranty expired now and they still cannot repair the screen. It also controls the Radio and other items. Our GPS will go on and down and sometimes not at all.
Love my Diesel. When the turbo kicks in... you know it.
Enjoy towing. Easy towing and the Airstream will behave itself.
