I keep the stinger locked up, clip and lock the chains to make it harder. I store the AS is a secure storage lot where the well armed resident manager can easily see it. Beyond that, insurance.
If some miscreant really wants to steal something, it’s going to be gone. Locks and similar stuff just deter honest people. The AS is also equipped with equipment that will also broadcast its location over APRS if it moves.

I agree that there is no way to fend off a determined thief. To discourage less ambitious people, we use two padlocks for our Hensley, one in the safety pin hole for one of the over-center latches and one in an enlarged hole in a hitch pin ( like this one: https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Pins-...w/MT70053.html) in the stinger.

Thanks for all the tips. 1st airstream still nervous we have the only airstream in our storage lot out of 200 RVS

We have had a Hensley from the beginning. We have had three Airstreams over the past thirteen years. We are approaching 2,000 nights of Airstream camping. We always lock our Hensley hitch bar to one of the tow chains on the Airstream. We do not use any further security measures.
