Based on fuel costs/MPG the diesel is cheaper. What engine do you prefer? Is one more costly than another?

I drove the gas and diesel versions of the Ram before I bought mine. The fuel and maintenance on the diesel both cost more but that Cummins engine is amazing so I chose the diesel. My truck is only for towing and stays garaged in winter.
I didn’t buy this truck for economy. My gas truck was great with the 27’. This diesel is even better.
