Are you talking about a standard cab or crew cab long bed? We have an F350 crew cab with long bed. Used it to pull a 30' fifth wheel. It towed great, but the length was restrictive in respect to finding campsites long enough. A 30' TT would be quite a bit longer. I'd say stay with a short bed and get a canopy.
