I pulled a 7k Airstream over this pass with my Tundra! Topped out at 30mph near the top. Thought I blew a transmission. Learned a valuable lesson about loss of HP at elevation. One of the longest/steepest stretches with switchbacks in the U.S. & one to avoid imo. I would assume your Ecoboost did not experience the power loss like my naturally aspirated engine. But, as you stated, coming down the other side was not fun either.

While RAWR of the 2022 Tundra decreased by 290 lbs, thanks to weight reductions elsewhere the payload actually increased. The fact is that you can haul and tow more with the 2022 Tundra than you could with the 2021.
