I believe he said it was shifting into 4th , that is where he noticed the problem . There is much more torque on the driveshaft in 4th , than the lower gears , that is why a worn clutch will slip in high gears before it slips in lower gears , hense , it needs more fuel in high gear under load than any other time.

Ok.....
Here is the report......
Fuel Filter changed.....
Allison Tranny Serviced and Fluids and Filter Changed.....
Technician checked for any codes thrown....

No codes thrown....and it runs like a spotted ape again....problem FIXED for $210.00 total bill at Frank Brown GMC, in Lubbock, TX
