Does size matter when towing?

Just a bit of a morning smile. Got this from a friend:

It is a Farm0road, powered by a Crofton (ex Crosley) 44 cubic inch, 33 h.p. SOHC motor ( Farm0road circa '58 to early 60's). Don't know what year the picture was taken. When was the 30th Nationals?

That' funny. However, it is a little easier tow than with that bicycle we've all seen. I hope there is electric brake set-up on this because just a little slow tow around the parking lot may be really hazardous.

I don't think I could fit in this Mini even with it stretched. There was a time, but it sure isn't now . Now they'd also have to stretch it sideways as well.

I came "this >< close" to buying a 2007 Mini Cooper-S last week. They are a lot bigger on the inside that you would expect them to be and boy are they fun to drive! I just couldn't do it though...I felt like one of those old ladies trying to "be young again" by buying a "Barbie-car".

I also test drove a 2003 Porsche Boxster-S...couldn't imagine going to Costco in that one - or it being a daily-driver, so I settled on another Mercedes. Couldn't get my wildstreak going ~ I'll let Mr. InsideOut buy the Boxster for his next car ~

Oh well ~

The new Mini's are very roomy vehicles. Even the old original 60's versions were not that bad either. My first two cars were original Mini's and I got in them without issue. I'm 6'2".

I don't have my membership directories handy, but I think that the 30th International Rally was between 1985 and 1987. Looking at the photo, it could almost pass for a location in the fairground in Salem, OR where last year's International Rally was held -- we had a "caravan reunion picnic" under a grove of trees with buildings in the background that sure looked like those in this photo.
