Don`t know of any rental co. that would have a brake controller, you may be better off hiring an rv hauler move it for you.Where is it at,and where do you need it moved to?

Most automobile rental places (Hertz, National, etc..) don't allow trailer towing. You may check with U-Haul, or some local places in your area. Do you have a friend, or relative with truck?

As Dave said...your other option is a carrier.

Regards,

Kevin

I've rented trucks from U-haul & Budget with car carriers & tow dollies. Check 1st to see if they'll let you tow your own trailer with the same truck. Not all trucks have tow packages so you'll need to make sure you get one.

considering rental tow vehicle

One issue that you are likely to run into with U-Haul is that their trucks (unless things have changed very recently) have 2" balls welded to their hitches -- the '79 Argosy coaches all had 2 5/16" couplers.

Tow rental

I checked as recently as a week ago with enterprise because I needed some warranty work done on the TV, they told me nobody wants to touch towing because of the liability. After they explained it that way it made sense.

I'm with Kevin 245 - ask (or make) a friend who'll loan you their truck for a few days. I know we'd try and help out if we were in your area - maybe someone on this board will help out a fellow new Airstreamer. Good luck!

Not so far from Florida: Georgia/ Atlanta with American rental...
It was the only one that rents a pick-up trailer .... Don't forget to buy the hitch balls ( 2 or 2 5/16 ...) not inclused !!!!!

American Van Rental, Atlanta, GA. Rent a car and SUV rental, luxury auto rentals, limousine bus in Georgia.
