CargoGlide

Looking at a cargo glide for my F350. Any takes on if the 100% is worth the coin vs the 75% pull out?

OT

I was also looking at an old man topper, but I guess I lose a camera out of my 360 system?

Keep in mind that it raises the floor of the bed somewhat. I do think it is a convenient contraption.

I have a Bedslide, and an ARE topper. If I had to do it over again, I would get the 100% slide, as I stow the Generac genny up forward, and it's a bear to get out. I love the topper though. Keeps everything dry and secure.

I lost the cam at the top of the bed, but we have a Ford, not the GM camera system. Still have more cameras than I did when I learned to drive.

Thanks. I figured the gen, fuel and water could go upfront, I would have to unload in front of them since I couldn’t lift over the side rail.
I really don’t want the topper, but it seems to make the most sense. Lifting stuff over the sides isn’t getting any easier and the drawer system loses too much height with a tonneau cover. Just remeasured.

I was looking at that Epoch 460ah battery and might be able to ditch the gen? Maybe wishful thinking.

I just got my slide in my F350 and switched from the Backflip to an ARE topper. I opted for the 75% slide out due to cost and the height. One of my goals was to be able to use a fork mount for my mtn bike attached to the new slide. If I had gone to the 100% slide the bike would have been too tall to slide out with a normal height topper. I would recommend making sure you get the flip up side windows on the topper to be able to reach things when necessary. So far I like the 75% slider because it's also getting high to lift things up to place them on the slide. If I had the 100% I would have to lift heavy things like the generator that much higher. I find that it's almost to the point that I prefer having a step stool to load the slide. Overall I like the new setup, only having taken a Xmas road trip without the AS but was loaded to the gills with holiday gear. It was an early validation that the new setup will work well for the AS.

We have a RAM 2500 with a ARE raised topper, 75 percent Decked slide. Really like the setup. I moved the camera for the rear view mirror to the top of the topper with a shark fin. That works great too.
