Brodie knob or steering wheel knob
Does anyone use one? Wife bought me one , will install on my 2016 f350 tomorrow and try it out with our the aiestream( Giggling Guinea) . See if I will use it full time. Then try it out in a couple of weeks when we bring the Giggling Guinea out again.

With power steering, I fail to see the utility.

It's been a long time since I've seen a knuckle buster! I think it's because of power steering like Bobby said.

What position will you place it?
They used to be questionable as you would be impaled on it in a crash. With seat belts and air bags (and especially in an F350) it’s a moot point.

I have one...on my tractor, and that's the only place I will allow one. They are prone to snagging on sleeves, bumping while reaching, and being a colossal nuisance in general. Not to mention being illegal on highway vehicles. With all that said, the only time I appreciate the knob is during those jobs that involve extensive maneuvering, i.e. hay stacking/unstacking. The rest of the time, I swear at that knob for getting in the way.

They’re definitely NOT illegal. Even if they were, good luck seeing up into an F350 from a state trooper’s Charger.
I may need one on my Model A, due to right side injuries. The A is dangerous enough in a crash the knob will not make it worse!

I have one on my boat and just installed one on my wife’s car. Like it with her car so much just ordered one for my truck also. Thing to consider is don’t put it where your hands are resting when you normally drive but have it just adjacent to them. Also place it on the inner part of the steering wheel so the knob isn’t in the way while turning.

I have one on my F250. It’s placed at the bottom of the wheel as I was taught when backing with your hand at the bottom of the wheel whichever side you hand goes, so goes the trailer. It’s also useful for slow parking lot maneuverability.

I have bad shoulders. When one flaring, this is very useful.
