Sorry should have said "Yakima" not Thule, lol.

Hi ekbruster-

Which Yakima rack did you order? I also have the retrax pro xr tonneau cover and like your set up.

Best,

Paul

You should consider a DECKED drawer system with rack on top....

I almost did the decked drawer system with a leer tall cap, but delivery timeline didn’t work.

That was going to be an upgrade from the roll top I now have. Decked by itself doesn’t work as we have 2 generators we travel with which need to under cover and locked.

Sorry for the long, long delay.
I put my recumbent trikes up on the “gutter” wheel carriers by first taking a couple of deep breaths, exhaling, and then hoisting them up myself. They each weigh about 35 pounds.
I’m 72 and will eventually need to figure out some kind of ramp system to roll them up without lifting.

Yeah I ended up adding a cap to my setup. Even better now - drawers + full bed + covered + dry + secured. Room for the dog too and bikes now go on the top of the cap....
