Best Diesel Truck Forum for Dodge and Ford?
I am contemplating/studying buying a diesel 3/4 ton truck. I am evaluating Dodge and Ford. I'll need to decide if I should go new or used and also Ford or Dodge. I lean toward Ford for body and chassis. I lean to Dodge for the Cummins engine.
So which are the best Discussion Boards/Forums for Ford and Dodge diesel trucks respectively? Obviously I can search the web and come up with at least 20 within seconds but looking for your insights. Thanks

For Dodge I'm a member at TDR. A bit more conservative than it was years ago, interest is now in making them last and learn them not go fast.
Make your own decision but make it your decision not one forced on you. The Ford 6.7L that my camping buddy has is incredible, until you open the hood. It is a real turn off for me that you have to pull the cab on late model Fords to do any major engine work.

I use the Ford Powerstroke forum. It isn't just everything, but I like the 6.7 scorpion section.

We have a Ram 2500, 2013, which is rated to tow 17K ##!
Open road, not towing= 22mpg
Towing = 14+ mpg ( only 16K on the odometer)
The turning radius is shorter with the Ram than the Ford...we have owned both!

So Zigi - did you use any diesel truck forums to make your decision? If so, which ones?
Thanks

I belong to the TDR forum and cummins forum for Dodge trucks. I find the TDR forum has more mature people but there can be good info on both. One of my good friends has a ford and likes the ford truck enthusiast forum.

Had a 97 Ford and a 93 cummins. Towed a 79 ambassador with them both. Each pulled like a dream and got about 20mpg. The ford had more bells and whistles and was 4Wd.
I second the turning radius on the FORD as WAY better! The newer ones have more emissions crap to deal with and get worse mileage as a result.

The DieselStop is a decent all around forum for diesel trucks.
