And to add insult to injury the federal road tax on diesel is higher than it is on gasoline by 6 cents $0.184 vs $0.244 with LP being the lowest at $0.136

Davidz71 suggested I would like the overkill of our new diesel. It is nice. Another item appreciated is the power extendable mirrors. I purchased some from Power Vision for the Tahoe. Gm wouldn't sell them for that SUV.
