while at Kia, did you look at their NEW Teluride (sp)? I is suppose to have a good tow capacity.

Same issue with the Teluride. Not enough hitch capacity.
(according to the Owners Manual)

Look at the chart on page 5-148. The hitch's maximum gravity load is rated only 351 lbs. But it is rated to pull 5,000.

So now I am looking for TV models and their specs for the correct vehicle that hopefully already equipped from the factory with all needed towing equipment. Thank you.

That Kia Dealer was an honest broker, that's not a given these days. Great job with that! I just wanted to add that I have a 2019 Bambi 16 and my TV is a 2019 BMW X3 S30i, rear wheel drive model (with the factory installed hitch and 7 pin connector). While no BMW is cheap it really is not that out of reach if one is considering paying at the top for a Honda Pilot, Mazda CX9 or a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I negotiated low to mid 40's, and decided to lease. capacities are 4400/441. You would be surprised how much more the tongue weight is on the Bambi 16. There several posts on here about it, but folks have noted over 400. I use a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller on the A frame (no under dash wiring needed) and a Blue Ox WD/Antisway Hitch. So far I'm quite pleased with it. And I love the car that I drive 99% of the time I'm not towing! Good luck!
