2019 GMC Sierra 1500

The new 2019 GMC 1500 Sierra appears to be a great vehicle. So many trailering upgrades. I can real close to pulling the trigger a few months ago on a 2018 2500 diesel but just couldn’t justify getting rid of the super smooth ride of my 2015 1500 with max tow. Today I was told by a GMC rep that the 2019 Sierra 1500s with max tow won’t include trailering mirrors. I find that really hard to believe since they have made so many trailering improvements for 2019. I have searched and searched the. Internet and cannot find anything about this year’s mirrors. Anyone else have any information?

Ok so best I can come up with is that GM thinks that now due to all the cameras the trucks have they get better coverage from them than tow mirrors.

Thanks GMFL. I believe you are correct. IMO, not a good move by GM. Having both would be a much better option. Can’t imagine after 50 yrs driving experience using side mirrors that I would now have to depend on a monitor, instead.
