I wonder.. Did Ford ever get the AC to work in Texas? Every one I test drove for 30 minutes before started to get reasonably comfortable.. Otherwise great truck!

Overkill for majority of Airstream owners but very nice trucks if you really need something like that.

Great performance, just not really excited about the styling direction Ford has taken with the new trucks. But that's a personal preference.

That's very interesting. Thanks for posting it. I was particularly interested in hearing about the new twelve pin trailer connector designed so that trailer cameras and tire pressure monitors can be hard wired to the tow vehicle.

Its funny you say that, because I still drive one. I know they have a bad past, but mine is running strong. It is an '05. If you know the 6.0, you know when it runs it is amazing. it will blow the doors off a 7.3, I know because I have both.

I would replace it if I could find something like an Excursion, but the 3/4 ton SUV with a diesel is no more.

Funny thing is, I know some mechanics who now say go buy one and bulletproof it before buying a 6.4 or 6.7

I will just keep driving mine with my fingers crossed.

Huh, we have a 2015 F350 6.7 Diesel and were in AZ this summer, 107 in the shade, fortunately she cooled down in a few minutes for us. The Dual ACs on the AS ran all day and well into the night but they too kept us cool.

Yeah and every time I see a Chevy diesel, I remember all those gas engines that GM converted to diesels and they blew up. Those engines left more people stuck on the side of the road than the Ford 6.0 ever did.

Yes I agree but I don't feel my F-150 is safe pulling my 31' Excella 500 anywhere but just out of storage

Funny the first thing the guy said was that is was too tall to put stuff in the bed. This seems to be a "mine is bigger" trend that has even invaded the small truck market. This trend is stupid and needs to go away. I am Ford fan but the let's make it taller mentality is just plain stupid. Why have a truck if you have to have a fork lift to put anything in the bed?

I take every opportunity to defend my 2015 6.7 F250. "Rex" is a great hauler and daily driver. At stock height I have no problem with bed height. I never worry about adding a pound or two as he will pull over 17000 pounds. Yes, out of the garage and to to the top of the highest mountain passes here in California with our AS fully loaded. Back down again with complete control. No worries, no complaints.

I used to love the Ford super duty's. My older brother had a 2000 F-350 7.3 4x4 with a 6 speed stick shift. I loved that truck and it was great. Once Ford brought out the 6.0 I didn't want anything to do with it. When I bought my truck I went with a 2005 Dodge 2500 Quad cab 4x4 with the 5.9 Cummins.

I've always been a Cummins fan and used several on my Father's boats when I was younger. I am now at 199,500 miles on my Dodge and it has been a great truck. That being said the new 2017 Ford has me looking at it for my next truck. I won't be putting the miles on the truck like I have my Dodge, but I want something that will last me 10-15 years and 150-200k miles.

I'll be test driving both the 2017 Ford F-350 and the Dodge 3500. I'd hate to leave Cummins but the quality of Ford has me willing to accept a Ford Diesel.
