Nice rig! Especially appreciate seeing the mirror extensions on the Colorado. I was wondering about that.

As I mentioned, I the Colorado seems to be a solid truck and in some ways would have been the better choice. But the $10k plus in savings in going with the Tundra I found (certified used) was the clincher.

I am a huge fan of diesel, but it does come with that upfront premium.

I would consider any 34 foot to be too much for my Dakota Quad Cab. It is slightly bigger than the Canyon, but I would love to switch to the Canyon diesel for my 25 ft '96 Excella. It has better frame and stability and apparently higher tow ratings than any of the diesel German SUVs that everyone seems to have good experience with. Having put a ton of mileage on my Dakota I would not consider anything bigger than a 25... I did once think I could pull a 27 or 28 but the weight of these units is really pushing it
