RV sites for sale in the Phoenix area?

My wife and I live in Portland, Oregon but I happen to work for a company in the Phoenix area that permits me to telecommute. It would make all sorts of sense to have a place in the Phoenix area where we could stay for those occasions when it makes sense for me to be working onsight. Also it would be great to have a place where we can go for a while when we get tired of the winter up here in Portland.

So my question is are there any RV parks in the greater Phoenix area where it is possible to actually buy a plot where we could park our 1973 31' Airstream whenever we want to? It might, for example, make sense to haul it down there during the winter months and haul it elsewhere during the hot summer months.

Also any good pointers on RV parks with rental spots could be of use as well.

Thanks,

Malcolm

When you are in the Phoenix area, head over to Mesa and Apache Jct, must be over 100 RV parks there, stop in and say HI, couple new places out on Rte 60 near Queen Creek look nice as well. Also I have heard that anumber of Case Grande parks sell lots, just 30 miles s of Phoenix

Hi Malcolm
As Jim said Mesa & Apache Jct on the East side of the valley
have a lot of parks. On the West side of the valley there are
parks in Suprise, Goodyear, Buckeye and Sun City area. We have alot of winter visitors (snow birds) that do just as you are taking about.

Is "Sun City" still an "old folks" town?

What about Sun City Center, another fine Del Webb community?

While taking an Art Workshop in the Scottsdale area I took a spot at

the Scottsdale Trailer Corral on N. Scottsdale Rd....very nice people.

They have a few permanent residents...only holds a few RVs so rather

a small community...maybe 29 or so rigs.

I thought it was fairly reasonable and they do have monthly rates.

It was nice in that it was in the middle of lots to do, and walkable to the

galleries and fun restaurants.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an RV park in Mesa or Apache Jct. Arizona?
