We were going to go there, but they say that pets aren't welcome and that means we aren't welcome...

WillyD,
We'll be there on Alpha 22 by Dec 10th. hopefully. We completely drain all water, domestic and boiler before leaving home. The heating oil we save pays our lot rental plus travel expense down and back several times over. The higher heating oil goes, the more we save by wintering in Melbourne.

That is the best reason I`ve seen ,about 4 more years and I plan on doing the same thing, summer at my cabin in the hills of Ohio and winter in Florida. But I plan on keeping Fl. as my perm. residence,no state income tax here.Just waiting.Dave

For a couple days in August, I was working in Melbourne, at the building right next to Land Yacht Harbor, and I was quite surprised when I looked out the window to see all of the Airstreams!

I drove through the campground one evening - it looked okay to me. I probably couldn't stay there, though, because (a) I have a cat, and (b) I'd hate to wake up every morning, see that building, and be reminded of work.
