Quarter Round trim

Just got done installing Allure Traffic Master Vinyl in the old Argosy. My question to those who have used the Vinyl flooring is how did you attach the quarter round trim at some of the edges. Nail it it to the floor? Glue it to the floor? etc. Thanks. George.

Fasten it to the vertical surface and not the floor. That way the flooring can "float" underneath.

You can use a good quality glue to bond it to the ttrailer wall and not the floor as you want the floor to be able to flex and not break the trim off all the time.

There's vinyl flooring that's glued down, or glued on the edges. If the vinyl expanded and contracted that much it would pull away from the quarter round. I would use a brad nailer and shoot the quarter round down to the sub floor at a 45 degree angle. If you glue it to the cabinet or flooring and ever have to pull it up for any reason it will cause problems. Even construction or sub floor adhesive doesn't stick well to vinyl because of the surface.
