New Luxury Vinyl Flooring-What Baseboard??

I just installed Mannington click together vinyl flooring and left the suggested space for expansion. What to use for baseboard to cover the gap??? The walls in our 1994 have the "carpet" on them. What have others used, and how did you attach the moulding. Floor looks great, and on street side the carpet covers the gap quite well, but on the entry door side the wall carpet is up about 3/4" and the gap is very visible. Any thoughts or ideas?? Thankk you! Chris

HI : I recently replace the carpet in our AS with a vinyl "click" flooring in a dark wood in design. When I came to the street side I covered up the wall covering that was tacked to the floor and cut the new flooring tight to the vertical wall.... Not a perfect solution but that side of the AS has a couch arm, fold up table and a dinette so the lack of moulding was minimized. Not a perfect solution but the floor looks good.... Trusting this helps...

I can't offer anything relative to your question (sorry). But I am curious which of the Mannington click flooring did you use? Are you happy with it?

Thanks!

Baseboard trouble also.

Also just put down Luxury Vinyl Planking by Stainmaster ( from Lowes). Easy to use and shape. But... can figure on the baseboard. Especially in the original bathroom area. Working on a '67 Tradewinds.

'67 Tradewinds new vinyl planking and moulding

As we have found out, once you put down the planking, there is going to be space that needs to be filled. I couldn't find anything else to finish the job so.... rope lighting is the answer ( stop laughing). Still open to suggestions.
