Mystery stains on floor / 2010 cloud

I was investigating these stains on the floor of our new to us 2010 flying cloud. Looks like the stains are in the top clear coat layer, or possibly from underneath? Hard to tell from the pictures, but the stain is not on the surface. I was thinking maybe it could be self tanner, but not so sure.

I tried acetone so far and did nothing. Any idea how this stain could have got into or below the clear coat layer?

Thanks! JJ

I don't know how common it is, but there are quite a few forum posts about the same problem.

Google "floor stains in airstream trailer" and you will find the information you're looking for.

Thanks tbrowne! I did find some threads regarding floor stains, and they most all seem to be regarding mold or glue/tar stains coming up thru the bottom of the flooring.
The stain I have is also on the floor in the cabinet under the bench so I decided to cut down one of the lines to see if the stain is coming thru the bottom. Well, here is a picture and it is clearly not coming from below. However the top clear coat layer looks like it soaked up whatever this stuff is. Going to have to try out some different solutions to try and get out. I am thinking mineral oil to start.
