Gentle flooring adhesive

I discovered a wet spot in the floor of my 2015 25FB Flying Cloud, using a Sonin moisture meter poked through the vinyl flooring. I think I have the leak fixed. I have pulled out the curb side bench (the leak was by the door), removed the trim and staples around the edge of the trailer, and peeled the vinyl back.

Once it is dry, I want to put the vinyl back down. When I pulled it up, I found that the factory applied some adhesive in places between the vinyl and the plywood. This adhesive was still tacky when I pulled the floor up, so the vinyl was not damaged during the removal. I would like to apply a similar adhesive when I put the floor back down. I don't want anything that is stronger/more permanent.

Does anyone have a recommendation for what to use, especially one that is readily available in small quantities?

Is the adhesive applied in spots to hold the vinyl? Can you get a hot air gun or hair dryer and see if the adhesive becomes active again then lay the floor back down and apply staples?

You could contact Airstream for the product they use or contact a local flooring store.

Are you confident the leak is repaired?

Sounds like the new method of using a tacky adhesive to support exactly what you did, access under the flooring, solve the problem with a leak and then re-install the floor. As I hope you will find that the flooring can be just set back down and it will stick as before.

The glue down method you would have lost your floor and that would be a much larger loss.

Yes, the adhesive is just applied in spots. I like the idea of re-activating the old material but I think I want to add some also.

I have a question in to Airstream about what they use. I am afraid it will be something that is only sold by the bucket. We'll see.

My leak was from the curved rain gutter over the door. One end pulled up and tore a screw out of the shell. I have an appointment to have a pressurized air leak test done to find out if I have any other leak.
