Experience with Forbo Marmoleum?

We are very unhappy with the stock vinyl flooring in our 2014 Flying Cloud 30 and are going to have it replaced. Our dealer, Woodland Travel Center in Grand Rapids Michigan, uses Forbo Marmoleum for all of their restorations and flooring replacements. They rave about the quality, design and longevity.

Looking at the Forbo web-site, the material seems to be high quality and durable. For us, durability is very important since we have two teenagers and two dogs (Retired racing Greyhound and Boston Terrier). Not to mention the fact that we camp in some pretty rustic locations and track in all kinds of dirt. We are hard on our flooring.

Looking at their colors, there even appears to be colors that match either the "bamboo" cabinets, existing "plank" style vinyl and even the brown "leather" furniture in our AS. And, if we wanted to, we could go all crazy and get a bright fun color. Oh the possibilities!

Any advice you can give would be appreciated!

Forbo Marmoleum has been used by many in Vintage restorations. We used the click panels in our 1954 Liner. Very satisfied.

We had Marmoleum installed last year as part of our remodel. We like it very much and it has come through the winter storage and summer seasons well. The visible part of ours was laid in one piece including the bathroom. Quarter round molding installed along the walls and cabinets that were not removed during the remodel. The
key to a successful Marmoleum install is floor prep and the talent of the installer.

We used it on our bathroom floor about 8 years ago. It has held up extremely well. So well, that last year we covered all of the horizontal surfaces, including the sink surround, with it.

It is durable, stain resistant and easy to keep looking new.

That is an interesting choice for the floor pattern. It looks good. Did they recommend any of the particular families over the others? I like the looks of the "Linear Sheet" though yours appears to be the regular "sheet" in "Fresco".

FYI this material can be "burnished" in lieu of waxing it!
