Lower Shock Brackets

My lower shock brackets have folded into my frame. When I replaced the axle I cut the lower brackets off and welded them onto the dexter. My question is does this prevent the torflex dexter from moving? Can I cut the brackets off, take the shocks out, and ride just on the torflex for 200 miles? I was told you can do this just wanted to make sure. From what I have read I should order dexter brackets 033-088-01 and 02. Thanks for the help.

I talked to Andy from Inland Rv, and he stated to pull the shocks before the trip. Thanks for the quick response Andy
