Not sure I understand the plan you laid out. Here's a closer photo. You could always take a piece of cardboard and hold it over the top of your pipe (not installed) and trim a hole that will fit the way you want - holding the cardboard at the approximate angle of the inner roof.

After months of brainstorming I finally decided how to trim my Vista view windows. Since I failed to install the classic plastic trim assemblies when installing the walls, and I trimmed the windows a fair amount wider than needed - it was difficult to decide on a solution. I wound up using 3/4" maple. Doubled up on the ends to allow trimming to the wall curve and bolted through on the perimeter. Next step is to trim the inside down to the window - either maple veneer or aluminum.

So glad I found Air Forums and your thread! All your work is amazing, have you done something like this in the past? The control panel and fusing under the plexiglass is a really nice touch. Hard to tell what is attached to which layer of plexiglass from the pics but by far the best one I have seen. Any closer pics of that area?

This is my first attempt at an rv renovation project. Thanks for your kind words. There's a 3/4in layer as a seat platform. A half width layer below that for fuse panels, breakers and interfaces. Floor level below that for inverter/charger, solar charger etc. Photos in sequence.

Did you have a wiring diagram that you used or just figure that out by your self. I think I can handle everything else on the build but the wiring thing has me a bit worried. I can wire a house no problem but this is a lot different. Pretty much thinking of doing what you have except less panels and batteries.

Thanks for the compliment. I home run power and ground for each 12v load. Eliminates guess work if loads don't work at some point. Little more expensive in wire though. I did bthe same for 110v AC, except a few outlets were linked. Wiring your trailer is much easier than your house. I worked up my own wiring diagram. Basically list all of your loads AC and DC. Then group them as you want. I grouped lights and fridges etc. So they were next to each other on the fuse/breaker panels. I'll add some pictures...

Pygmy, may I ask which shear you used to cut your patches? I will be needing to cut a few and have an idea of what I want to cut but baffled on getting curves in there. TIA

Just stopped by to check on this thread. Jppatchesairstream is doing great. Systems are working perfectly. Adding the thermal fan to the stove pipe blows hot air into the back bedroom and was just what the wife ordered. Peace.

I love the corrugated and natural wood in yours. It’s like an amazing cabin in the woods on wheels. I’m a fly fisherman and hunter so our 74 has a “mantry” to compliment the pantry. It’s a 5’ long drawer that pulls out from under the rear king bed with rifle and rod racks.
