Pygmy your creativity and playfulness with aluminum still amazes me.

During the initial renovation I installed two 300ah 6v AGM batteries along with my 2000w Magnum inverter charger. I've since added two more batteries for a total of 600ah at 12v (300ah usable with 50% limit}. I installed 480w of solar using an MPPT controller (increases input amps using excess voltage from the panels). Solar package of 160w panels came from AMSolar in Oregon. Installed myself, it was pretty easy compared to the renovation. Click image for larger version

I also Zephyr polished the trailer and fabricated rock guards from some left over 5052 aluminum. Click image for larger version

head door

Looking good. Im just now getting around to finishing my shower/head. Got the walls on and having a stainless steal shower pan made. I built the inclosure out of cedar fence board. Looks nice...nice contrast and great smell. I built the door today and damn if that thing isnt heavy. I like the door on your head. Looks like you double sides a piece of aluminum of steal. Can you tell me what you used and how you built that. Looks great. Cheers, Mike

I used 1/4in corrugated aluminum sandwiched between two symmetrical select pine frames. Super light, strong and solid. Click image for larger version

Splendid, saved your pics (again) for inspiration.

Love how that stove surround turned out and ties in with the bathroom door.

PS also really like how the interior is opened up by just having upper cabinets on the one side.

I used the 1/4 corrugated on the bathroom sink surround as well. Once cut to the correct size it just snapped into place under the sink trim. Click image for larger version

I saw that and wondered how you formed it so perfectly. Thanks for explaining.

The sink fits perfectly in that corner. Maybe just got to watch your head if you bend forward.

I'm going to go back thru your whole thread and look at just the photos on a full screen.

To flexi clear or not flexi clear?

Just finished Bus Kote on my 93. I am deciding if I want or need to order the Flexi Clear finish coat. Thoughts?

The clear coat will keep algae and dirt from adhering to the bus Kote and make washing much easier.

Beautiful work. Can you show where/how you house your batteries?

Here's the table I made for the trailer. Used electric burned fir plank. Filled the burns with copper pigmented bar top epoxy and then covered with the same but clear. Folds away and stores in the ottoman. Click image for larger version
