Wall Clock

Have you installed a wall clock in your AS? If so, could you make some recommendations?

My DW is looking for ideas.

Thanks!

When we first retired and took a long trip to Alaska, I bought a clock from Camping World that just showed what day of the week it was. It was truly helpful.

Since then we just bought one of the battery clocks from CW, and after hanging it on a screw, used some velcro to give it some additional hold.

We use a battery powered clock with alarm, temp and humidity. Wasn't even expensive.

We have an AcuRite indoor/outdoor weather station. Acurite makes quite a few models. We hang the remote sensor on the PPP V2 WD jack. It displays time, indoor temp, indoor humidity, outdoor temp, date, etc. Some models show time in larger letters. Search Amazon for AcuRite Weather Station.

My vote is for the weather station with a built-in clock. I have two, one in the bedroom and one in the living area. I like to know the time and temp, inside and outside, when I wake in the morning.

I have a battery operated "atomic clock" that I mounted with Command strips. It doesn't budge.

I installed a wall clock and a combo thermometer/hygrometer that are made by Weems & Plath. They were designed for boats, so they mount securely to the wall but can be easily removed for battery changes, etc.

We have had a Weems & Plath clock near the sink in our Airstream for years. They are not cheap, but look great. We also have a small digital alarm clock on the wall by the bed.

A four-sensor thermometer could monitor the freezer and fridge in addition to indoors and outdoors. Get rid of the separate fridge/freezer monitor.

I mounted a 8" round analog clock on the fridge bulkhead that matches our Ocean Breeze interior. I hung it on a screw and at first packed and replaced it for every move. Now I leave it up and it's find. I recommend that you ensure that it's a "constant sweep" or "silent" model. Many battery powered analog clocks click the seconds away which can make one crazy on a quiet night.
