Update TV's

I'm going to update the TV's in the Cutter and am wondering what others have done and how it's working for them. The TV in the main cabin is the one that seems to be the bigger challenge. Would love to see what some of you have done so I have an idea of what can be done. Thanx, looking forward to see what comes up.

Not sure what info you are after, but going with a 12v unit from Jensen is a great option. Never having to run a generator to watch a movie is a serious game changer!

Hi

The issue these days is not really price of the replacement. The issue is finding something decent in a small screen size. The world has apparently decided that 50" is a "small TV".

The big question is - what do you do / what do you plan to do with the TV? Do you stream video off the internet? Do you watch a bunch of 4K videos on BluRay? Do you only turn it on once a week to check the news? Would you use it as a computer display? There are some very capable (but still mighty cheap) TV's that integrate a bunch of smarts.

One thing to check in addition to the size of the TV - check how it mounts ( = mount plate location) and how much it weighs. You can move the mount in the RV, why do it if you don't have to? ....

Go 12v. No inverter needed either.

Thanx for responding. I'm really looking to see what people did to put a flat screen tv in the dash area of a flat front pusher. The tv is mounted in the dash and I was hoping to see what modifications need to be done to remove the old picture tube tv and mount a new flat screen.
